I pride myself in managing a competent and dedicated team who provide a high level of customer care and create a professional yet relaxed atmosphere for patients old and new.

Sarah manages the dental team at Eckington Dentist, she also ensures that all policies and procedures are in place and up to date. Occasionally you may find her in surgery as Sarah is still a registered dental nurse.

Sarah has had over 20 years experience in dentistry, qualifying as a dental nurse NEBDN in 2001, dental radiographer in 2003, and also gained her NVQ III in business management in 2010.

Sarah worked as dental nurse in Ashbourne for a number of years working her way up from a YTS trainee to head dental nurse. She then met her husband and moved over to Chesterfield and worked in private dental practice in Wirksworth where she gained knowledge of oral surgery procedures, dental implants and cosmetic dentistry, before moving to another private dental practice in Derby where she worked with a specialist in endodontics and a consultant orthodontist. Sarah was then offered the position of dental practice manager in 2006 in a busy NHS practice in Chesterfield, but she missed private practice, the time to get to know patients and cosmetic dentistry so she came to join Eckington Dentist in January 2008.
