Your First Visit

Your first visit to the practice is designed to make you feel comfortable and at ease. This initial visit will normally last around 30 minutes, but you will be given all the time you need to ask any questions and discuss any worries.

You will be welcomed by our friendly receptionists who will ask you to complete a confidential medical and dental history form if you have not done so already. This allows us to begin to understand your dental concerns and realise any general health issues which may impact upon your dental health.

The dentist will discuss your past dental experiences and anything we need to learn from that in relation to your future dental care. When you are ready we will carefully and gently, examine your mouth by conducting a ‘15 point dental health check‘ including screening for oral cancer. At this point, X-rays may be required and will be developed while you wait.

Based on the clinical examination, X-rays results and discussions of your dental goals, we will be able to develop both short term and long term treatment plans as appropriate. If this is acceptable to you we will provide a clear, itemised estimate of costs and book a personal visit for treatment to begin.

We offer a variety of payments options and membership plans available to suit most budgets.

I am very grateful to Eckington Dentist for achieving such impressive results, in addition to providing an excellent standard of general dental care and oral hygiene care.
